Newsletter
An email when there is something worth sending.
What you get
What is new on the site: chapters, rabbit holes, glossary entries, and the corrections we have made since the last issue. And when there is a piece of Bitcoin news big enough that you should hear about it from somewhere that is not selling anything, that too.
There is no schedule. At most one a week, and often none.
One person writes it: the person who runs this site. No automation, no ghostwriter. If a long time passes between issues, that is why.
We do not publish past issues on the web. There is no archive to browse.
What we ask for, and what gets recorded
Your email address. The form asks for nothing else. We do not want a name. We send Buttondown your address and nothing else; what it records around it is in the next paragraph.
Buttondown sends the newsletter for us. It stores the address, and it records which emails each subscriber opens and which links they click. We switched that on because we want to know what gets read. If you would rather not be counted, set your mail app not to load remote images, which stops most opens from being recorded, and find the pages on the site instead of clicking the links. The privacy page says what Buttondown keeps, for how long, and how to have it deleted.
The newsletter is for readers 16 and over.
Rather not give an address?
The RSS feed carries every new chapter and rabbit hole and needs nothing from you. It does not carry glossary entries, the corrections or the news.
How to leave
Every email has an unsubscribe link at the bottom. Click it and the emails stop. Or email hello@learnbitcoin.com and we will take you off by hand.
